Mark Sansone tried a case in front of Judge Lynch, Cook County. The trial lasted three days.
The case involved a 76 year old male who slipped and fell on ice on a parking lot at a local car dealership. A year later plaintiff had a cervical decompression and fusion surgery. His medical expenses were $233,000. Plaintiff asked for $701,000 from the jury for the bills, pain and suffering and loss of a normal life. The jury deliberated for 2.5 hours. The jury found a Not Guilty verdict for the defense.
Mark tried the case alone but had plenty of behind the scenes help from Phil Micha with motions and jury instructions.
